A Lifeline

If you feel vulnerable, and in need of some extra support and peace of mind, our Lifeline Service is available to help you.

The Lifeline alarm is an emergency service that uses your existing telephone line to connect to a call centre that is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. When you trigger your Lifeline alarm an operator at the call centre will contact your nominated contacts (such as family members and friends) or the emergency services for appropriate help.

Anyone can apply for this service - you don’t have to be a Spire Homes tenant, elderly, disabled or living on your own to apply. The Lifeline service is open to anyone who feels vulnerable and in need of some support or peace of mind.

There is a small weekly charge to cover the cost of the 24 hour response service and upkeep of the equipment. You can choose from a variety of payment methods including Direct Debit, standing order or a one-off annual payment.

For more information or to apply for the service, please call our friendly staff on 0300 123 66 11. They will arrange for a member of the Lifeline team to visit you at home at a time to suit you.
